 Joan’s Heart Studio started in early 2024. 

Anne Marie is the artist and owner. She explains how her life path led her to find the creative outlet of painting to find happiness after loss. In 2007 Anne Marie was devastated by the passing of her Mother Joan, who battled breast cancer. It was then that she began painting and started her artistic journey. The way Anne Marie explains it is to bring beauty and light back into her world.  Again in 2022 she found herself searching for happiness after losing her corporate job as an Executive Assistant. It was then that she decided to change her life and pursue her passion in artistry. Anne Marie puts her heart and soul into each painting with bright florals and abstract acrylic artwork. "Each piece I create shows a little part of who I am and what I experience.  Expressing my thoughts through art is more than just creating; its a way to find peace and joy".  Joan’s Heart Studio stands not only as a testament to one woman’s journey through grief but also becomes a beacon of light to others seeking communion with their own emotions. It is here, amidst her painted masterpieces, that Anne Marie keeps the memory of her mother alive, pioneering a space where art reveals durability amid life’s adversities—always reminding us to welcome the paradox, the intersection of grief and grace, in our own lives.   At Joan’s Heart Studio, art becomes a lifeline—a bridge connecting the past to the present, grief to joy, and the heart to the canvas of life.
